Co-owner Keith Santora, a talented professional for over 30 years, with a cross-qualified knowledge of the diverse field of residential remodeling, has offered high levels of value, solutions and service to our clients and the public.
Logging countless hours of education and implementation, Keith’s areas of expertise include design and construction techniques; solar design & installation; building codes; zoning regulations & interpretation; VA & 203K loan guidelines.
On the personal side, Keith is a formally trained, performing jazz pianist, graduating from the Hartford Conservatory of Music.
Co-owner Enid Santora is usually behind the scenes at HRD, managing various projects related to marketing, website design, advertising, and promotional materials.
As a licensed Real Estate Professional, Enid keeps abreast of remodeling trends including interior decoration and design. On the personal side, Enid is a colorist and artist, bringing creativity to the company’s varied portfolio of expertise. She earned her B.S. degree from Southern Connecticut State University and her M.A. degree from Aspen University.
“I enjoy taking people’s ideas and bringing them to life!”, explains Dave Denecke, Project Manager at Handyworks. A native of North Haven, CT, Dave attended Gateway Community College and has been in remodeling for 21 years, with a long track record of upgrading and designing people’s homes and offices. Dave has an affinity for rescue dogs from animal reserves.
Cynthia Henri joined HRD in April ’22, a lifelong CT resident, currently from North Haven, with years of experience in front office business roles at remodeling and home services companies. She enjoys working with the Handyworks team because “They really work together”, adding, “They make sure we’re all on the same page before moving forward on a new project!”
“Handyworks rocks!” says Tom Zarecki, HRD marketing and social media expert, adding, “Nobody provides client education with project details like we do!” A lifelong radio announcer and former marketing director at international radio software company RCS, Radio Computing Services, Tom was also a monthly columnist for trade publications, earned his MBA from Western Connecticut State University, and now teaches there as an Adjunct Marketing and Communications Professor. Zarecki is also a radio personality on 88.9, WJMJ-FM in Hartford, CT.
Proudly serving America in the US Army for 23 years, Texas native and Veteran Zach Miller now proudly serves homeowners as associate project manager for Handyworks Remodeling and Design. Zach assists HRD president Keith Santora with job estimates, and project manager Dave Denecke with work staff supervision, materials ordering, and customer service. A former custom furniture business owner, Zach was hired by Handyworks in 2020, while exploring the Connecticut countryside. “It’s beautiful out there,” he adds. Zach is also studying for his degree in history at Quinnipiac University in Hamden.
Our Project Manager and Field Supervisor lead the Handyworks Remodeling team of trained, conscientious tradesmen and remodelers. We call our remodeling crew our “Tech Team”. Each of our highly-qualified Tech Team members have years of experience in their specific fields, to help bring YOUR project from dream…to reality.
At HRD, we make a strong, consistent effort to educate consumers and/or businesses who visit our site, about topics related to the project at hand.
